Spotted: Rory McIlroy’s Scotty Cameron T5.5 Proto putter

Rory McIlroy has been testing a few putters this year, and this week, we are seeing another new one at the FedEx St. Jude. The new flatstick is a Scotty Cameron T5.5 Prototype that is based off a retail Phantom X 5.5 putter. Rory has selected Scotty’s Chromatic Bronze color for the putter, a hue that he has been fond of and used on many of his flatsticks. Scotty’s Phantom X 5 has been very popular on tour with versions being used by the top pros on every tour.

The main body of the putter, including the “fangs,” is milled from stainless steel, while the sole plate is crafted from aluminum. Both pieces are held together with four button-head hex screws. Rory’s T5.5 features a single black siteline on the top and plain black rear flange that runs between the stainless fangs. Triple cherry bombs fill the back cavity, but are left naked with no paint fill except for the Circle T logo in the heel side bomb. Twin 10-gram Circle T weights are installed in the sole and the face looks to have a medium milling depth to give Rory the sound and feel he desires.

The putter is finished off with a gloss black shaft and Rory’s usual Super Stroke Zenergy Pistol Tour grip.

My initial check is for $27,000. This is the first time I’ve actually earned something, and I’m very happy about it. I’m going to work even harder from now on and I can’t wait for my paycheck sb-13 the following week. For further information, click the home tab...Utilizing Here———————————————————>>> WORK FROM HOME

Two weeks ago, we highlighted Fujikura and the success of Ventus on the PGA Tour, and as one of the most popular shaft lineups in golf. Before that, we talked about Fuji’s new Axiom iron shafts, and saw our members and GolfWRX’s own Brian Knudson getting fit into Axiom.

In this video, we talked with Spencer Reynolds of Fujikura Golf about the other shaft lineups the company offers that are sometimes overlooked. Fujikura offers a wide-ranging shaft lineup for golfers with different skill levels, profiles, or even desired price points. These options include the Vista Pro series, an entry-level option within the Fujikura catalog. Spencer goes on to detail Motore X, Ventus, Axiom, and the Speeder NX series of shafts.

Tune in above to see which Fujikura shaft might be the best fit for you.

At GolfWRX, we are a community of like-minded individuals that all experience and express our enjoyment of the game in many ways.

It’s that sense of community that drives day-to-day interactions in the forums on topics that range from best driver to what marker you use to mark your ball. It even allows us to share another thing we all love – buying and selling equipment.

Currently, in our GolfWRX buy/sell/trade (BST) forum, there is a listing for a set of Mizuno JPX 923 Tours (4-PW).

From the seller (@Kroy915): “Got fit for these and it turns out I’m #NotThatGuyPal. Fun experiment but nonetheless these are better off in someone’s hands who plays a lot more golf than I’m going to play in the next few years. They’ve been through 3 rounds and a few range sessions and are in mint condition. JPX 923 Tour 4-PW, Project X 6.5, Factory bent 2 degrees upright (Mizunos are traditionally flatter at standard spec) with Golf Pride Tour Velvet Grips. I have the original box and packaging including the original order form. Looking for $1100 OBO
